Kraft is working to help kids eat better by supporting best practices and policies of school boards and health experts with these nutritional and health criteria:
- 35% or less of total calories from fat (excluding nuts and seeds, given their nutritional benefits).
- 10% or less of total calories from a combination of saturated and trans fat.
- 35% or less of total calories from sugars (excluding those sugars naturally occurring in fruits, dairy or vegetables).
- Inclusion, where practical, of fiber, whole grains, fruits, dairy and vegetables.
To promote nutritious lifestyles for children, Kraft offers many vending products that meet established guidelines for schools. |

Kraft is focused on promoting healthy lifestyles for children. While there is no “silver bullet” solution that will improve diet, increase physical activity and thereby prevent childhood obesity, Kraft can help make a difference. Our marketing practices, community-based health and wellness programs and product nutrition initiatives are focused on making a positive impact on the health of children.
