Beef Satay with BBQ-Peanut Sauce

OPEN PIT Original Restaurant Recipe Barbecue Sauce 24 fl oz 3 cups
prepared peanut sauce 15 fl oz 1-1/2 cups
beef sirloin steaks (8 oz. each), each cut into 8 strips 3 lb. 6 each


MIX barbecue sauce and peanut sauce; pour half over meat in non-reactive container. Stir to evenly coat meat. Refrigerate 2 hours to marinate.

DRAIN meat; discard marinade. Thread 2 meat strips onto each bamboo skewer.

FOR each serving: Grill 2 skewers on medium-high heat 1 to 2 min. on each side or until done, brushing frequently with about 2 Tbsp. of the remaining sauce.

Serving Suggestion
Serve with salsa and cut-up fresh fruit, such as papaya.
Soak skewers in water for 30 min. before threading meat onto them to prevent them from burning on the grill.
