PLACE instant coffee and milk in bowl of electric mixer fitted with paddle attachment. Beat on medium speed 15 seconds or until coffee is dissolved. Add pudding mix; beat 1 to 2 minutes or until well blended. Spoon 1/4 cup of the pudding mixture into each of 42 parfait glasses (or 6 parfait glasses for trial recipe).
ADD 3 quarts of the whipped topping (or 1-1/2 cups for trial recipe) to remaining pudding mixture; stir gently until well blended.
SPOON 1/2 cup of the whipped topping mixture over pudding layer in each glass. Top each with dollop of the remaining whipped topping. Sprinkle lightly with cocoa.
