Ingredients Weights Measures
A.1. Bourbon Sauce
bourbon 4 fl oz 1/2 cup
HEINZ Tomato Ketchup 4.8 oz. 1/2 cup
A.1. Original Sauce 4.5 fl oz 1/2 cup
light brown sugar, packed 1.25 oz. 2-2/3 Tbsp.
Caramelized Onions
yellow onions, sliced 1 lb. 1 qt.
honey 18 oz. 1-1/2 cups
bourbon 8 fl oz 1 cup
Fried Avocados
all-purpose flour 9 oz. 2 cups
baking soda 1.95 oz. 1/4 cup
bourbon 16 fl oz 2 cups
avocados, each cut into 8 thick slices - 4 each
Sandwich Assembly
ground chuck, shaped into 6-oz. patties 6 lb. -
kaiser rolls, split - 16 each
white cheddar cheese slices (0.5 oz.) 8 oz. 16 each
red bell peppers, roasted, cut into thin slices 1 lb. 1 qt.
OSCAR MAYER Bacon, 22-26 Slice Count, cooked 1.25 lb. 32 slices


A.1. Bourbon Sauce: Mix ingredients until blended. Refrigerate until ready to use.

CARAMELIZED Onions: Cook ingredients in skillet on medium-low heat until onions are caramelized, stirring occasionally.

FRIED Avocados: Mix flour, baking soda and bourbon until blended. Dip avocado slices in batter; gently shake off excess batter. Add to 350ºF oil in deep fryer. Cook 2 min. or until crisp and golden brown; drain.

FOR each serving: Grill 1 burger patty to desired doneness.

SPREAD 1-1/2 Tbsp. A.1. Bourbon Sauce onto bottom half of roll; cover with burger, 1 cheese slice, 1 Tbsp. Caramelized Onions, 1/4 cup roasted peppers, 2 bacon slices, 2 Fried Avocado slices and top of roll.

Kraft Kitchens Tips

Do not coat or fry the avocado slices. Instead top each sandwich with 2 fresh avocado slices and 1 Tbsp. French fried onions.
