canned pineapple, drained, diced 12 oz. 2 cups
OPEN PIT Original Restaurant Recipe Barbecue Sauce, divided 12.5 oz. 1-1/4 cups
biscuit dough rounds (1.2 oz. each), thinly rolled 2 lb. + 6.4 oz. 32 pieces
deli ham, small diced 10 oz. 2 cups
Swiss cheese, small diced 6 oz. 1-1/3 cup
Barbecue Salsa
OPEN PIT Original Restaurant Recipe Barbecue Sauce 10 oz. 1 cup
salsa 9 oz. 1 cup

Directions

COMBINE 2 cups pineapple and 1/4 cup barbecue sauce (or 1/2 cup pineapple and 1 Tbsp. barbecue sauce for trial recipe); set aside.

BRUSH each dough piece with 1/2 Tbsp. barbecue sauce. Fill each with 1 Tbsp. each ham and pineapple mixture, and 2/3 Tbsp. cheese. Fold dough over filling into half-circle; crimp dough to seal. Place on parchment paper-lined sheet pans.

BAKE in 350ºF standard oven 10 to 15 min. or until golden brown.

MEANWHILE, prepare Barbecue Salsa by combining ingredients. Serve 2 empanadas with 1 Tbsp. Barbecue Salsa.
