cracked black pepper - 1/4 cup
OPEN PIT Hickory Smoke Barbecue Sauce 80 fl oz 2 qt.
pork butts, cooked, pulled 7.5 lb. -
slider buns, split - 72 each

Directions

COOK root beer and pepper in large saucepan on medium heat until reduced to 1/2 cup (or reduced to 2 Tbsp. for trial recipe). Stir in barbecue sauce; simmer 5 min., stirring occasionally.

ADD meat; cook until heated through, stirring frequently.

FOR each serving: Fill each of 3 buns with 2.75 oz. pork.
