Sesame-BBQ Chicken Wings

 
Yield:
50 servings, about three wing pieces each

sesame oil 16 oz. 2 cups
gingerroot, peeled, minced 3 oz. 2/3 cup
minced garlic 2-1/2 oz. 1/2 cup
chili-garlic sauce 5 oz. 1/2 cup
BULL'S-EYE Original Barbecue Sauce 4 lb. + 8 oz. 2 qt.
chicken wings, separated at joints, tips removed 10 lb. -
green onions, chopped 5 oz. 1-1/4 cups
sesame seeds - 2 Tbsp.

Directions

MIX oil, ginger, garlic and garlic sauce. Mix 2/3 cup (or 1 Tbsp. for trial recipe) of the oil mixture with barbecue sauce; set aside. Add wing pieces to remaining oil mixture; toss to coat. Refrigerate 30 min. to marinate.

REMOVE wings from marinade; discard marinade. Place wings in single layer in parchment-lined sheet pan (or in lined half-sheet pan for trial recipe).

BAKE in 325ºF-convection oven 15 min. Brush both sides of wings with barbecue sauce mixture. Bake an additional 5 min. or until chicken is cooked through. Sprinkle with onions and seeds.
